Hi, I’m Abhaya Vilsan,
A Freelance Digital Marketing Consultant based in Kannur.
My storytelling journey began in mainstream media, where I worked as a news anchor, reporter, and editor after earning my Master’s in Journalism. This foundation in audience connection naturally led me into PR and content strategy, where a major milestone was managing the PR for Miss South India 2025.

To align my skills with the evolving digital landscape, I completed Digital Marketing course at CDA. A pivotal step that bridged my traditional media roots with modern digital strategies.

Today, I combine my years of journalism, PR expertise, and advanced digital marketing skills to help brands build strong visibility, craft compelling content, and grow effectively. REPORTER

Over the past five years, I’ve built a dynamic media career across three online platforms and a local TV channel. Thriving as a reporter, camera person, video editor, sub-editor, and news anchor, this journey has been my life’s best experience, shaping my passion for storytelling and journalism.

RADIO PROGRAMMER

My two month internship as a radio programmer at Radio For You, Kanhangad, was a uniquely enriching experience. Stepping away from the camera, I focused entirely on my voice interviewing farmers, hosting a doctor’s show, voicing advertisements, and reading the news. It was a refreshing chapter that added a whole new dimension to my media career.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

Beyond journalism, I have a strong foundation in video production. During my internship at Tenpoint Media Pvt. Ltd., I edited engaging reels and managed production workflows. Notably, for a major government project, I handled scriptwriting, location hunting, and shoot coordination, showcasing my end-to-end production capabilities.

PR AND CONTENT ASSOCIATE

After my Post Graduation, I transitioned into Public Relations, which opened a completely different and exciting chapter. Working with Whitepaper as a Content Associate, I successfully managed the PR for the prestigious Miss South India 2025 pageant, blending my media expertise with strategic brand storytelling.

Upskilling with a digital marketing course at CDA was a major turning point in my life. Today, I work as a Kerala based freelance digital marketing consultant from Kannur. I specialize in driving online growth for brands by offering professional services in SEO, SMM, SEM, and web development.
